During this two-hour class, Keith Simon, Senior Architect at BES/Terracon and adjunct faculty at the University of Texas School of Architecture, will review drawing plans (“blueprints”) from the basics of project documents formatting to the intricacies of how specifics are created such as lighting schedules, roofing details, and flooring finishes. Hands-on activities will be used to get participants used to searching drawing sets to hunt down critical project information.

SENIOR ARCHITECT

Since 2014, Keith Simon has brought 15+ years of architecture and consulting experience to the Austin, TX office of Building Exterior Solutions, a division of Terracon. Keith oversees building enclosure consulting work on new and remediation construction projects, design, construction, and testing phases of work, and on roofing, walls, fenestration, and below-grade systems.


  Cost is $25.00 for members and $50 for non-members.
Lunch will be provided after the class to avoid getting food near computers.
Deadline for registration is Friday before the training class by 5:00 pm.
THIS COURSE WILL COUNT TOWARDS CPD FOR BOMI INTERNATIONAL DESIGNATIONS.
