Stac Duff, SMA, FMA, LEED GA
President 2012

Stac Duff, SMA, FMA, LEED Green Associate, is the Chief Engineer for Cousins Properties at Palisades West.  He has an Associates of Applied Science degree in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Technology.  Stac has received his SMA and FMA designation from BOMI and is LEED Green Associates Accredited.  He has over 25 years experience in the facility maintenance and engineering field.  Stac has been a member of AAFAME for 8 years and served as co-chairman for the Community Services Community in 2007 and 2008.  He is married and has two sons.  His hobbies include collecting and restoring antique tools and home improvement projects. 

Personal Goal for AAFAME: "To continue the outstanding record of promoting professionalism and education in the facility and maintenance engineering fields through networking and training."


Jose Delgado, SMA, FMA, RPA, LEED GA
Vice President

Jose Delgado, SMA, FMA, RPA, LEED Green Associate is the Building Operations Engineer at the Long Center. He served in the US Army for 6 years. He has his Certificate of Completion on A/C, Heating and Refrigeration Technology from TX State Technical College. Jose received his SMA in 2006, and his FMA in 2008, he also has his Universal CFC Certification. He has over 20 year experience in the field.  Jose has been a AAFAME member since 2003, and has served on various AAFAME committees. Jose is married with 3 kids, 2 grandkids and enjoys jogging, doing  yard work, watching sports, and barbecuing.

Personal Goal for AAFAME: “To get more members to participate in committees, training, volunteering and to encourage them to go for their SMA and FMA designation.”


Dawn Eserini, SMA
Treasurer

Dawn Eserini, SMA, is the Building Superintendent for the Employees Retirement System of Texas. She has recently completed a certification from UT in the Project Management Program. She has over 15 years experience in the facility maintenance and engineering field.  Dawn has been a member of AAFAME for more than 12 years and served as co-chairman for past chili slam and volunteer committees.  Dawn is an active member in Toastmasters, Executive Women in Texas Government . She has been in a relationship for 15 years and has one son.  Her hobbies include gardening, fishing , metal detecting and collecting football cards. She enjoys hanging out with her family by the pool and a good BBQ. 


Personal Goal for AAFAME:
"To continue to provide growth and valuable information to our members thru training and networking opportunities. AAFAME has an  abundance of professional resources available to our members. Our reputation of professionalism and education is well known in our industry. I would like to see AAFAME continue to provide these valuable resources to our engineers while maintaining a cutting edge in education and technology"


Rick Scott, FMA
Secretary

Rick Scott, FMA is the Facilities Manager for the Blood & Tissue Center of Central Texas for 5 years.  He has been in the facilities operations in varies capacities  and general construction for 30 years. Rick served as co-chair on the 2010 Expo committee as well as volunteered for the chili slam past 3 years and he has been a member of AAFAME for 5 years.

Personal Goal for AAFAME: 
"I want to continue to enhance the fellowship, knowledge, and professionalism of this organization that I have experienced since joining AAFAME."


David Shott, SMA, LEED AP
Immediate Past President

David Shott, SMA, LEED AP is the Chief Engineer for Cushman & Wakefield. He has been in the industry for over 10 years. Other Experience includes commercial and residential remodeling as well as commercial automation and controls. David recently passed the US Green Building Counsel's LEED Accredited Professional test. This past year David served on the AAFAME training committee and has been serving on the board for 2 years as secretary and treasurer. David is married with 3 children and enjoys playing bass and running the sound board for his church's band. 


Personal Goal for AAFAME
: "AAFAME has been very progressive in staying on the edge of new technologies and I would like to continue these traditions while not forgetting the basics. This year new I hope to see technologies allow more participation from the astounding almost 400 current members of AAFAME."

 


John Mock
Engineer Director

John Mock is a Lead Engineer for Transwestern in Austin. John has over thirty years of experience in Facilities Operations, Maintenance and Engineering. John has been a member of AAFAME for approximately five years and has served as co-chair of the Sponsorship Committee for the past two years.  John is a native Austinite. John has been married for twenty-two years and has two children. John's hobby is working on his two classic cars and his passion is playing drums.

Personal Goal for AAFAME"I'd like to see AAFAME continue to set the example in providing a close working relationship between Engineers, BOMA and local area Vendors as well as providing continuing education opportunities on both national and local industry standards, and to continually help the advancement of building and operating Engineers in the Austin area."


Crystal Green
Vendor Director

Crystal Green, is the Marketing Manager for Southpro Restoration Services.  She received her Bachelor’s degree at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches Texas with a Major in Marketing.  Crystal has been in a business development/marketing roll for facilities services for the past 4 years.  For the past 3 years Crystal has been the Co-Chair for the AAFAME Vendor Expo, and this year she served as the Junior Co-Chair for the AAFAME Chili Slam.  She has served on many of the committee’s for AAFAME over the past 4 years, and she sees how important it is to stay involved in AAFAME to get the best value for your membership!  Crystal is married with 3 small children, Haley just turned 1, Ayden just turned 4, and Skyler will be 6 in December.  Her children keep her very busy, but when she does get time to herself, she enjoys traveling, swimming, triathlon’s, skiing, watching football, spending time at the lake,  and spending time with her friends and family. 

Personal Goal for AAFAME: 
“I want to target new and inactive vendor members to help them realize how important it is to get involved.  Sometimes volunteering can be an intimidating thing, so I want to work with vendors to know it can be fun, it doesn’t have to take up all your time, and it’s the best way to get the most out of our membership.  People start to know you by seeing you in front of them all the time, and the best way to do that is to get involved!  I also want to work on building the Vendor Director as a more helpful role to vendors and the board.”
