Speaker Information
Mark Butland is an award-winning professor, researcher, public speaking coach and inspirational keynote speaker. His corporation, Business Communication International, INC., focuses on businesses, helping them enhance the lines of communication.
With nearly 20 years of college and university teaching experience Mark has been the recipient of several teaching excellence awards. Mark’s latest efforts include a book “Public Speaking: Choices for Effective Results,” (March, 2006; Kendall-Hunt Publishing Company) and a series of Audio Compact Disks dealing with fear of public speaking (May, 2006; McLeod Publishing Company). Additionally he has published instructor editions of textbooks in interpersonal communication and public speaking.
Mark’s keynote address: “Magnificently Flawed: Three Keys to Becoming Authentic” challenges audiences to recast their weaknesses into magnificence. His own unique experiences from a lifetime struggle against blindness and vision problems are entertaining, poignant and instructive. Invite Mark to speak to your employee or community group.
